The Exchange Club of Waterbury
Our mission is to help prevent child abuse. Throughout the year we have a variety of ways to raise money so that children in the greater Waterbury area are safe. Each Exchange member is fully dedicated to the support and growth of the organization, and through fundraising and volunteer efforts, we strive to prevent child abuse in our community.

The Waterbury Exchange Club is organizing a canned food drive to assist local families in need. If you wish to donate, please drop off your food contributions at any of the designated locations until March 30th.

Monthly Meeting Update:

March 2, 2026, we held our monthly Exchange Club of Waterbury meeting at Monteiro’s Restaurant. We were thrilled to welcome three new members to our Exchange family!
​
Please join us in welcoming:
- Kristen Jones from the Greater Waterbury Ymca
- Ellie Cuifalo from the Literacy Volunteers of Greater Waterbury
-Christta Sprott from Destination Psychiatry, PLLC

We also heard a powerful update from Brittany Petrucci of Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, who shared how our recent donation is making a real difference. These funds helped sustain critical operations after previous funding cuts and supported:

- 24/7 hotline services
- Home assistance to help families transition into safe housing
​
Moments like these remind us why community matters. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and the organizations doing life changing work in our city.

Waterbury WAMS Exchange Excel Club

We are proud to announce that Waterbury Arts Magnet School (WAMS) hosted the first Waterbury Induction of Charter Members for the Waterbury Exchange Excel Club!
​
We were honored to have national representation at this special ceremony and are incredibly grateful for the support of Principal Dr. Maria Stasaitis, along with Advisors Mrs. Farrell and Mr. Butler, whose dedication helped bring the Exchange Excel Club to life at WAMS.
​
Congratulations to all of the students who took part in today’s ceremony. We wish you the very best as you begin this exciting new opportunity!
